Calendula oil is an extremely gentle and soothing oil with many uses. It has a high carotenoid content which gives it its skin regenerative properties. It is great for healing dry skin, rashes (including diaper rashes), chapped lips, and even to relieve sore nipples. Because it is so mild and softening it can be used on babies' delicate skin.
It also has anti-inflammatory and vulnerary properties and has been used for stubborn wounds, ulcers, bed sores, varicose veins and bruises.
