Have you ever noticed that when you buy a product labeled organic, that not everything is organic? Or even worse...a company incorporates organic into their name yet NOTHING is organic? Well we did and decided to do something about it. This practice is so common that virtually every product labeled organic incorporates large amounts of inorganic ingredients into the final product. At Oracle Organics we are committed to truth in advertising and offering a truly organic product. This is why all of our ingredients are either organic, wildharvested or handcrafted without the use of chemicals. In addition, ingredients not certified organic are third party tested for pesticide residue and are not used if found. When you purchase something from us you can rest assured that every single ingredient is organic ensuring a 100% organic final product. An organic ingredient is one grown without synthetic fertilizers, pesticides (including herbicides, insecticides, fungicides), or artificial ripening processes. Organic agriculture supports biodiversity, ecology and the general health of all creatures in the biosphere including you!

Palm oil is found in nearly every natural soap on the market yet is directly responsible for the destruction of the rainforest in South East Asia, human rights abuses, and destructive pollution! Palm oil plantations critically damage the surrounding biodiversity, destroying 80-100% of mammals, birds, and reptiles. Plantations in certain areas are putting stresses on already endangered species such as the Sumatran tiger, elephant, and orangutan. Large scale plantations are also to blame for displacement of local communities and the destruction of their livelihoods because of the destruction of the forests they are dependent on. In Indonesia alone the forests are vanishing at a rate of more than 2 million hectares a year - an area half the size of Belgium. In addition, toxic waste generated as a product of the process pollutes local water and poisons workers. We at Oracle Organics are sick of the hypocrisy of companies offering natural products while not truly taking nature and human rights into account. Our first concern is that of social and environmental justice and we will not compromise. That is why you will never find palm oil in any of our products!

Soap vs. Detergents Did you know that most soaps are actually detergents? There is a difference! Soaps are made from natural ingredients while detergents are made from a variety of synthetics including petrochemicals. Petrochemicals are derived from the waste of the crude oil and natural gas industry. In addition, these products are often overloaded with synthetic fragrances and preservatives due to their offensive smell. It is a known fact that detergents are toxic to fish and wildlife. Considering your skin will absorb around 60% of what is applied directly into the bloodstream, the choice is clear. Soap is better for your health and the environment. Oracle Organics’ soaps are made only with natural organic ingredients, are biodegradable and are true soaps.
