soothing lavender
Lavender is a derivative of the word lavare which means "to wash" in Latin. It was a bathing ritual herb in Roman times and was popularized as a cosmetic herb by English royalty. For me, lavender has always been one of my favorite herbs and essential oils for its versatility, gentleness and luscious smell. It is one of the four "essentials" in aromatherapy. So it was no surprise to me when this soap turned out to be one of my favorites. Our special blend of lavender essential oils combine creating a smell that is divine.
